What kind of game is Outloop?
Outloop is an arrow escape puzzle game for iPhone and iPad. Every board is a tangle of arrows: tap one and it flies the way it points, if nothing is in its way, and find the order that clears the board. It is a calm logic puzzle and brain teaser with 3,000+ levels, from five-arrow warm-ups to giant picture Knots, and every world adds a new rule.
Is Outloop free?
Yes. Outloop is free to download, and you can play every level without paying. The game shows ads between some levels, never during your first ten. Two things are for sale if you want them: hint packs, and Remove Ads, which takes away the ads between levels and when you open the game. Videos you choose to watch for a free heart or hint stay available.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 and later.
What happens when I run out of hearts?
You start each board with three hearts, and a blocked tap costs one. With none left you can watch a short video for one more heart (once an hour on each board), or simply try the board again. Zen has no hearts at all.
How do hints work?
A hint points at an arrow that can leave right now. You begin with three. More come from a free video once an hour, or from hint packs in the shop. Your hints belong to your iCloud account, so they follow you from device to device.
What is a Knot?
Every tenth level is a Knot: a large board in the shape of a picture. There are three in every world and 300 in all. Each one you undo becomes a print in your Atlas, which you can share.
Can I play offline?
Zen and Rush always work offline. In the Journey and the Daily Puzzle you can finish 15 levels in a row without a connection; after that the game asks you to reconnect. Remove Ads lifts that limit.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Yes. Levels, stars, prints and hints sync through iCloud between devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
